Well... I only teach 6 more days. I can't express how excited I am.
It is so weird, but I am going to miss school. I wish I could always go to school,
but not have the homework (writing assignments.)
I don't mind the reading which is why I chose English, but I am DONE writing papers.
Which is really discouraging since I had my heart set on a master's degree.
Maybe in 20 years I will pursue that dream.
Anthony has been great.
Just getting geared up to apply for Med School. Applications go out on May 1 (for Texas) and then June 1 for everywhere else.
BUUUUT
my amazing husband has been offered a seat at
Cornell University.
Yes.. The Ivy League School. I can't even fathom being accepted into an ivy league school, let alone having them contact me!
He is a genius. Really.
It is for an MHA degree. (Hospital Admin.) Which is what his back up plan was, if medical school didn't work out. So we are in a pickle of a predicament.
I was thinking last month...
During testimony meeting at church couples are always saying
that they are making huge decisions that are life changing.
Yes, babies are life changing,
but other than that, I've never thought we had any life changing
decisions to make.
We are both very organized people who know where they are going... until now.
MHA school, at Ivy League-Prestigious-School,
or
Anthony's dream of becoming "The surgeon"...
What to do. He can do anything, but here comes our BIG decision.
I wish I had never thought
"Oh, I never make big decisions. My life is planned out to the day I die."
It is kind of like praying to be humbled.
DON'T DO IT.
