2 Years Old || 24 Months

This is my last "Month Update." 

I no longer tell strangers how old she in months... 

She is 2. 

I want to say she is 2 and 3 weeks..

 because she is so smart. 

Smart enough to be a 2 year old and 11 months..

 but she is just 2. 

Stats: 

Height-- 33 1/2 inches

Weight-- 26 lbs

Here are some things about my 2 year old || 24 month old:
-- You call yourself Mimi, because you can't say Millie.
-- You talk in your sleep. Sometimes you will be asleep, sit up, look around and say something, and just fall over and continue sleeping.
-- You were potty trained around 21 months. You did it yourself, and you were so ready.
-- You are so independent. You HAVE to do everything by yourself, which can make leaving the house a very long chore.
-- You love to sweep, mop, and wipe anything. It's actually becoming quite helpful.
-- You feed your baby, read to her, and put her night night with her binky and blankie.
-- You like coloring, but only with pens.
-- You are a tad obsessed with watching Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, as well as the 1999 version of Stuart Little. They are both daily occurrences and often repeated.
-- You enjoy playing with our phones, but it has decreased lately, which I am very happy about. You are becoming more interested in your toys.
-- If dad is home for dinner, you are sitting on his lap. There is no way around it.
-- Can/try to repeat any word we say and ask "What is this?" about 1000 times a day.
-- You say bye to everything.. living or not.
-- Can name/identify/ and make animal noises
-- Saw Frozen in the movie theater, and watched the whole thing!
-- Water must have a tinge of juice in it.
-- You LOATHE bath time. It is quite the battle getting you in, but after 5 minutes of crying you just want to play and never want to get out.
-- You tell people please and thank you. You are VERY polite.
-- Your new kitchen is a hit!  You love it and all of your little friends do too.
-- You have to sleep with your blankie, 2 binkies, a bear, 2 duckies, and sometimes a baby. It's adorable.
-- You love to play house and help momma cook
-- Definitely a Daddy's Girl, unless you are hurt, then you want to cuddle mom.
-- Your favorite animals are Duck and Mice.
-- you are my favorite 2 year old in the whole world.

A Frozen Birthday Party

My baby turned 2!

We were lucky enough to celebrate her birthday with a party on her real birthday. That doesn't happen very often, but we had such a fun day with our little girl. I chose her birthday party theme as Frozen, because A: its the only movie she has ever watched to the end and B: I wasn't going to do a Daniel Tiger birthday party. 

It was a little difficult find anything snow related since it is now spring, so mainly it was a blue, purple and silver party. If you know me, you know I love throwing parties, but it has been pretty difficult while living in a small apartment and a state that is snow covered 7 months of the year, but I think this party went off pretty good. I did get a little stressed out because Anthony had school right in the middle of day and a bunch of baking mishaps happened. I convinced him to ditch class and help me bake cookies and cupcakes. He is true dad. 

The night before her birthday we set up THE kitchen. We bought it a few weeks ago, and I have been dying to put it up. I have heard the horror stories of this kitchen saying it takes forever. Well, I know I have the best handyman for a husband and knew he could do it fast... 

.. 3 hours later, and I swear there should have been plumbing hooked up to this thing. Its truth people. 3 hours. Luckily, she L.O.V.E.S. it. and she better love it until she is 15 for a very long time. My mom gave her a grocery cart, and my grandma sewed her (and her baby!) an apron. So were set from some good quality kitchen play time.

She woke up and we had her favorites for breakfast:

Banana pancakes, strawberries, and eggs.

This is the closest I have gotten to a real smile for the camera in a LONG time.

She got some veggies and other foods that she cut. She loves that she has a knife.. creepy.

and she got this baby from my dad. Her eyes close and she keeps putting her "Night Night"

After nap time, I found her running off with sneaking treats.

We had so many friends to celebrate with and Amelia loved seeing all of her little friends come and play. Every time somebody would tell her Happy Birthday, she would tell them Happy Birthday back. and tell them they are now 2.

Don't mind my hair.. there were 100 people and our apartment was boiling.

It was a great day. and she was sooo happy. She is just the biggest sweetheart.
