Amelia is 2 months old...
I can't believe that it is the middle of June. I feel like she was just born last month! She is growing like a weed. We went to the doctors and got her stats...
Height: 24 inches-- 98 percentile
Weight: 12 lbs 6 oz-- 81 percentile
She is so long. She barely fits in her 3 mo onesies. They are stretching lenght wise, but baggy everywhere else! It's pretty cute.
This month was a pretty rough one for us. She got dermatitus and Acid Reflux. YUCK!
Here are some things about my 2 month old:
---Daddy sings Captain Vegetable to you almost every day. It is so cute. He started when you were born and it's how he gets you to calm down.
---You started sleeping about 5-7 hours at night... THANK YOU. Now we are working on getting you to sleep before 11.
---You got dermatitus this month. A rash spread all over your body and looked in pain. I took you to the doctor and they told me I have to use all unscented lotions and soaps. To wash your body we use Cetaphil cleanser. For lotions, on your body we use Cetaphil Lotions, on your face, we use Aveeno Baby, and in your neck creases we use Aquaphor. You HATE lotions on your face, but still love baths.
--- When I am feeding you and you are trying to latch you will growl like you have been starving! It is the cutest thing ever!
---You fit in 0-3 month clothes. It's like you have a whole new wardrobe. I love it.
---You went on your first road trip.
---You were blessed on June 3
---You prefer sleeping on your side.
---If you don't want your binky, you will make a face that looks like you are completely disgusted. It makes me laugh.
---I gave you your first pedicure. Everyone loved it.
---You have started pulling my hair... OUCH!
---One time, I went upstairs and heard you crying. I went back downstairs to find you pulling your own hair and you wouldn't let go! So stubborn.
---You and daddy have staring contests. You always win... Blink girl!
---When you are really tired, you nuzzle into my arm and suck your binky like it's going to disappear.
---You are SOO a mommy's girl.. When you get into one of your fits, I am the only one who can calm you down. It frustrates your dad.
--- This month you got Acid Reflux. You have always randomly gagged a little bit. I didn't think anythingn of it. It wasn't like you threw up or anything. Well, the night of your blessing you started getting really fussy and it continued through out the week and continually got worse. Pretty soon you would only take about 2 sucks while eating and just start screaming, then you were either only screaming or sleeping throughout the day. I was exhausting. I took you to the doctor because I was worried about you not eating. Well, they gave you Prevecet and it didn't work too well, so I went back and now you are on Prevecet, Zantac, Bio Gaia (a probiotic), Gripe Water, and I can't eat dairy! So far so good. You are a completely different baby and always happy. I love it.
