28 Weeks

Wow.. I can't believe I am 28 weeks already... Almost 29.

I was hospitalized in January for a double kidney infection and a bladder infection. I guess my uterus is more on the right side and has pinched the tube from my kidney to my bladder. I have never been in so much pain. I was so dehydrated, the nurses had to use newborn IV's because my veins were so small. It was terrible.

My belly is getting HUGE. There are 2 pregnant girls at my work, due before me, and my belly is WAY bigger.. Blah.

She is definitely moving. I feel her all day. She kicks so strong it wakes me up and keeps me up.

We are setting up her nursery and it is looking more fit for a baby instead of our study. Makes me super excited. We are having a baby shower this month and I am so excited to put it in her nursery! EEK!

I seriously can't believe it is so soon...

We made this onesie. I love it, but it took forever!

Christmas and 24/25 week update

Well, Christmas sure went by fast! I am now 25 weeks, but have been feeling under the weather and am falling behind on my baby journal. I can't believe how fast time is going! I signed up for my maternity leave and we are interviewing substitutes to come be my replacement for the rest of year and hopefully they can continue for next year. My last day is March 30 and I feel like it cannot come soon enough!

On Monday night I started getting really bad back pain and it continued to get worse throughout Tuesday. I thought it was just a pregnancy back ache, but then I started getting nauseated and throwing up... Turns out it was a kidney infection. I went to the doctor on Wednesday and he gave me an antibiotic. I hope it gets rid of it FAST... I never knew kidney infections were so painful! Ugh...

Baby girl got spoiled over Christmas! And she is definitely a GIRL. We had the 24 week ultrasound and it is very evident there nothing there. Pretty excited about that because we have so many girly clothes. And I wanted to show the cute stocking my grandma made so I guess we have to reveal our name we have picked out...

I sure feel like I am getting big... and sleeping is almost nonexistent. Before I was pregnant I probably had to pee 2-3 times a night anyways, I don't know why... Now, I get up about 5-7 times. It is CRAZY. I still can't tell if I have felt her move yet. I either always have gas bubbles or she is one crazy baby. I just can't decide. We know she is moving because the doctors have a hard time finding her heartbeat because she keeps kicking them! So that is good even if I can't definitely feel it.
