St. George and New Years

The day after Christmas, we headed down to St. George to stay at Anthony's family condo. We love this place! When we lived in Utah, we would go at least once every 2 months, sometimes once a month. Though the vacation has definitely changed with Amelia there too, it is still fun. Just no quite as relaxing as it once was. I have a feeling that's how vacations are now.

We obviously need a family picture in our house because she would stare at it and name everyone for a least an hour a day.

For New Years Eve, we always go to Great-Grandma Browns. We play games, eat food, and make goals (while also getting depressed looking at past years' goals.)

Christmas 2013

Like I have said, Christmas is my favorite holiday. I love spending the time with family, and have loved it even more with Amelia in the picture. She is such a cheeseball.

We spend time with both of our families, because we don't want to leave anybody out. Somebody always gets their feelings hurt, so we try to make people happy. I think next year we will stay in Chicago, and people can come visit us. It is so much work trying to please everyone, and it would be nice to wake up Santa Clause under our Christmas tree.

I didn't get one picture of her opening a present! She opened one and just wanted to play with it the whole time. It took about 2 hours for her to open all her presents because she would just stand up and walk away with her new toy. 

In preparation for potty training, I ordered the book "Everyone Poops." Funniest book ever! 

October Family Pictures

Our friends, Brittany and Kyle, came to visit us and they took some family pictures. 

They have some really nice cameras and do editing and stuff like that... 

(Too computer illiterate over here.)

It was nice since Amelia turned 6 months and it was time for new pictures of her!

Having Fun in Utah

We missed Utah! 

It was so fun being home and seeing all of our family and catching up with some friends. It felt like we never really moved. People are still there, doing their thing, and not much has changed. Which makes me feel good that I'm not  missing out on that much.
