First Road Trip

I am so behind on blogging. Forgive me.

We went to St. Geezy over the Memorial weekend in May. I was so nervous how Amelia would be on the car ride.

Before we left, I took her to the doctor because she was getting a huge rash all over her face and it was starting to spread down her body. Well, she had dermatitis and we have to use all unscented lotions and soaps on her from now on.. no more baby smell except for the shampoo. :( At her appointment she weighed in at 11 lbs 5 oz! She sure loves her milk!

We left on the drive at 5:00 and by the time we hit the freeway she was fast asleep... So nice! We stopped in Fillmore and ate dinner and I fed her and she slept the rest of way! It was great!

We just relaxed and hungout all weekend. It was GREAT.

We laid out by the pool. It was too cold for Millie, so we took turns staying inside the pool house with her.

 The water diaper was a bit too big!

 She finally  met her Great-Grandpa Slaugh! He adored her and she loved him. It was so cute!

We are heading back down over the 4th. I hope it goes just as great as this time!
