It has consumed our lives, and we couldn't ask for anything more. I don't think we can go 5 minutes without bringing up Amelia in coversations somehow. Sorry about that.
January-March:
Marché finished up teaching her 7th graders at Channing Hall.We prepared for childbirth with weekly Lamaze classes and read Husband-Coached Childbirth
Anthony finished up the last of his projects at BYU.
April:
Amelia was born April 11, 2012Anthony graduated from BYU's Marriott's School of Management in Finance
Marche turned 23
May:
Anthony turned 26Anthony worked 2 full time jobs throughout the summer: Provo Park's & Rec, and The Public Group
Marche adapted to being a full time mommy
Went to St. George... Amelia's first vacation
June & July:
Amelia was blessedBrown Family Reunion in St. George.
Amelia's first time in a pool and going hiking
August:
We moved to Ithaca, New York on August 1Anthony started Cornell's Masters of Healthcare Administration program
Marche suffered through humidity
September-November:
Hiked a lot of waterfallsHad our Canadian friends visit us
Grammy Nicole visited
Went to Salem, MA for Halloween fun
Went to Boston, MA
Amelia was a fairy for Halloween
Had our first Thanksgiving away from family... not as bad as Marche thought it would be
December:
Anthony finished up his first semester at Cornell with 3.9Marche did a lot of crafts... A LOT
Flew to Utah for Christmas
Spent the holidays with family
That was quite a year.
What we are looking forward to in 2013:
- Amelia walking and talking
- Job offers (WEST COAST PLEASE)
- Exploring the east coast (NYC, DC, Jersey, Myrtle Beach, Boston, & Chicago)
- Summer internship... who knows where that will lead us
- Travels
Marche, that is one great year! I'm so glad we got to see you while you were here in Utah. It will be fun to watch Amelia continue to grow. (Ever since we have seen you, we have been trying to get Cora to clap like Amelia).
