End of The World Party: Dec 21, 2012

My Grandma Pat had an "End of the World Party/ New Beginning Party/Rebirth Party."
It was to celebrate the end of the Mayan Calendar. People thought the world was going to end that day because that is when the Mayan Calendar ended... or something to the effect. Obviously, we translated that wrong.

We had huge luminaries and they were so fun. I want to buy some of my own.

Yes.. I need a better camera. Want to donate?

Flying to Utah

We flew to Utah for Christmas Vacation on December 16.
Amelia did AMAZING. Not one cry.
Slept 4 hours of the 5 hours.

We flew out of Buffalo which is 3 hours away.
Buffalo was the cheapest option for us
(tickets, parking, luggage...)
And cheap is what we like.

We had to leave at 2 am, and of course, we couldn't sleep at all the night before.

To say the least, it was a long day.

She obviously could sleep that night. She didn't even wake up when I dressed her.
The plane was empty, so we could take her car seat on the plane with us.
She slept in it and it was just great.

I had to change a VERY dirty diaper in the plane bathroom as it was LANDING.
Just say it... I have skills.

Christmas Day

As many people know, Christmas is my favorite holiday.
No, not because of gifts. I just love the spirit that lingers day to day.
I love the decorations, the music, the food, the sentiment.
I am so grateful we were able to go home for Christmas.

My family has a huge X-Mas eve party and so does Anthony's. It is so fun to be around everyone.
Unfortunately, I did not take a single picture on Christmas Eve. So sad...

We jumped around from houses. It used to seem like we were soo busy on Christmas, but I think we are starting to get the hang of things.
First we woke up at my mom's house.
I am little kid. I will admit it. I still get butterflies on Christmas morning and I can't sleep past 4.
So I let everyone sleep until 6:30.
We opened presents and had a yummy French Toast breakfast.

Then we headed over Anthony's parents house and had Christmas over there.
I love the White Elephant give exchange we do.
We got a jello recipe book (SCORE!.. haha jk)
and a camcorder.
THEN
We went to my Grandma Mary's on my dad's side.
She is an amazing cook and Anthony loves eating everything there.. and then some.

Amelia had a really  bad cold on Christmas and it was so sad. The pics on Xmas morning look so sad.
But get ready for a Christmas Day Picture Overload.

Poor baby looks so sick

And the aftermath...

Christmas in New York

Before we flew home, we celebrated our own Christmas
